 Word Processing/Copy Typing:
  
Typing speed: 80wpm
  • Letters, invoices, reports, manuscripts, dissertations, proposals, minutes, labels, manuals, handbooks etc.
Hourly: £13 (charged to the nearest minute)
Per A4 Page: £3.50 for 1st page/£2.00 for subsequent pages
Text: £5 per 1000 words
 
 
Audio Transcription:
 
Digital transcription from dss/wav/wma/mp3 files using Olympus and Express Scribe transcription software
  • Interviews, focus groups, minutes, conferences, lectures, notes, letters, reports, manuscripts, meetings, scripts, speeches, articles, telephone conversations etc.
The professional industry standard allows ONE hour to transcribe 15 minutes of clearly recorded speech. Therefore, it takes a MINIMUM of 4 hours to transcribe a one hour tape, and it can take as much as 6 or 8 hours depending on the quality of the recording. However, transcription can take much longer for focus groups, meetings, seminars and conferences with multiple participants - perhaps as much as 8 or 10 hours for one hour of recorded tape or a bad quality, unclear recording

Recruitment Assistance:
  
Hiring staff can be a time consuming activity.  We can assist you by taking on the admin aspect of it.
  • wrting and placing job adverts, handling response from adverts, sending and receiving application packs, arranging interviews, sending selection and rejection letters, chasing references
Hourly: £15 + cost of materials (charged to the nearest minute)
 
 
Copywriting:
 
Increase awareness and build business with some well chosen words.
  • press releases, web copy, brochures, sales letters, flyers, newsletters
Press Release: £40 for 1 page press release
                        £20 to submit to appropriate media (+ cost of post where applicable)

Research:
  
Do you need information on your customers, competitors, industry, product, service?
  • Internet and library research carried out, report supplied
Hourly: £13 + cost of report where applicable (charged to the nearest minute)
 
 
Database Management:
  
We can set up your database using Microsoft Access, enter the data, supply you with reports and update the information when required.  Databases can be useful for many projects.
  • stock management, customer mailing lists, employee information
Initial Set-up: £35
Data Entry: £30 per 100 entries
Subsequent updates or editing existing data:  35p per entry
 
 
Spreadsheets:
  
Have a spreadsheet set up and streamline tasks such as:
  • budgets, financial forecasting, expense reports, employee attendance tracking
Simple formula set-up: £35
 
 
Mailshots:
  
An excellent marketing tool.  Send out your brochures, sales letters, invitations etc. to all your potential and existing customers.

Same letter to each address (customer supplying inserts: 30p per envelope

Desk Top Publishing:
  
Using Microsoft Publisher, this can be an effective and less expensive choice for your marketing materials.

Hourly: £17 (charged to the nearest minute)

PowerPoint Presentations:
 
Impress people with a powerpoint presentation.  We can supply it on disk, to be used with your laptop or pc, or on acetate to be used with an overhead projector
